The Leica SL2 Silver - Inspired by the classics

Leica expands the SL-System portfolio with a new variation of the Leica SL2 Camera. With a silver anodised top and bottom plate, the camera impresses with a classic look. 

The camera sports a black leather body wrap identical to the Leica M11 camera. All other technical features and performances are identical to the SL2 serial camera.

A unique 47MP sensor designed with only two glass elements to minimise stray reflections and allow the Leica SL lenses to deliver the finest resolution and a tri-dimensional focal plane separation.

An EyeRes EVF that matches an outstanding 5.75MP panel

A unique multi-axis in-body stabilisation to allow the unmatched 60lpm-optimized APO-ASPH SL prime lenses to be built without lens stabilisation, thus achieving the tighter tolerances needed to guarantee the perfect and constant alignment of the all-glass

This kit combines a professional camera body with a compact Leica Summicron-SL 35 f/2 ASPH. prime lens weighing only 370 grams. The versatile benefits of this set can be experienced through landscape, street, reportage and close-up photography.  Thanks to the fast and silent focusing this compact, standard lens is also perfectly suited for high-end videography.

The APO-Televid 82 delivers superb optical performance for brilliant insights into nature that are rich in detail and contrast - from dawn until dusk. The combination of the apochromatic optics with their new FL glass and the 82 mm front lens diameter increase the light yield, compared to the previous models, by more than 6%! The eye piece is fast bayonet mounted and has a magnification of 25x to 50x. It has a very wide angle viewing area, which gives the user a unusually wide field view. The object you are viewing is not only magnified, but also the surrounding area and thus its context can also be observed exactly.
You can now also take a "scoped" photo of your favourite subject easily using an adapter designed specifically for the LEICA D-LUX4 digital camera.
